On a brightly lit stage, two small children stepped into the spotlight. They were incredibly thin—so much so that the audience began whispering with concern. Their clothes hung off them, and they looked like they barely fit in the world around them.
The stage fell silent.
Suddenly, a golden beam of light shone down from above. It landed gently in their hands, and right before everyone’s eyes, two small glasses appeared—filled with a glowing yellow liquid, warm like sunlight.
The children glanced at each other, smiled, and drank.
In an instant, a soft golden light surrounded them. Their posture straightened, their frames grew taller. Faces filled out with color and life, eyes sparkled, and their hair swayed as if touched by a gentle breeze.
When the glow faded, standing on the stage were not the same children. They were now older-looking, radiant, confident—transformed. The crowd gasped.
From somewhere in the audience, a voice asked,
“What just happened?”
