A six-year-old boy was found sitting alone, cold and terrified, deep in the woods — and what he went through in those few hours has shocked an entire community.
The child, whose name hasn’t been made public for privacy reasons, went missing earlier this week after reportedly wandering off during a family outing. What started as a normal afternoon quickly spiraled into a nightmare.
According to witnesses, the family had been hiking a short woodland trail when the boy got distracted and ran ahead. Within minutes, he had vanished from sight.
“We searched everywhere,” his mother said. “We were screaming his name. I thought I was going to pass out from fear.”
