A 12-year-old boy from Ohio has tragically died after allegedly being subjected to ice baths as a cruel form of punishment.
Jadako Taylor was found unresponsive in an Akron home on Saturday afternoon, with authorities responding to a report of a child suffering a heart attack. He was rushed to Akron Children’s Hospital, where doctors pronounced him dead.
Police have charged 23-year-old Anthony McCants with felony child endangerment, alleging that he forced Taylor into two ice baths just 45 minutes before his death. Investigators have not confirmed the exact relationship between McCants and Taylor, but reports suggest McCants was “known to the family.”
