When the Johnson family relocated from rural Kentucky to a new home in Nashville, Tennessee, they thought their beloved cat, Whiskers, had run off for good.
They searched for days. Posted flyers. Asked neighbors. But Whiskers had vanished without a trace.
“We were heartbroken,” said 10-year-old Lily Johnson. “I thought we lost her forever.”
